Adapt your products and services
Do you know what vacationers are looking for when they come up and spend time at their secondary residence? Everything they consume relates to their cottage and the experiences that they provide when at their destination. Given their profile and characteristics, these people will consume products and services that relate directly to their experiences at their secondary residence.
For example, we can think of food with value-added products or retail businesses with specialized products such as high-end outdoor clothing and footwear. These people are willing to consume, and all we have to do is offer a range of products that they like. They are buyers.
There is no need to offer a wide array of products all year round, knowing that most of them live in the Valley only six months a year. However, if these products and services are offered when they are here, they will buy. This gives them a reason to purchase at our businesses.
