In 1997,
a business follow-up service was added to the more traditional services that
include coaching during the prestart-up, start-up, acquisition, expansion,
consolidation, growth, restructuring and diversification phases.
The SADC follow-up service provides effective technical support
tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs in the Gatineau Valley.
It is based on a team approach and gives entrepreneurs access
to any technical assistance they need to perform the daily
operations of their businesses.
The staff provides practical advice in areas ranging from
bookkeeping, marketing, business costs, financial restructuring,
to name a few.
The idea is not to do the work but to provide the entrepreneurs
with what they need to meet the different challenges they face.
The Gatineau Valley SADC advisors support the entrepreneurs
as often and as long they need the services. The process helps
the entrepreneurs to gradually take charge of tasks that gave
them difficulty before.
