« Consumption survey of resort clientele » – Part 2 of the
« Adaptation commerciale au nouveau marché de la villégiature (Adapting Business to the New Resort Market) study »

This was a consumption survey of Gatineau valley resort goers and seasonal campers conducted in the summer of 2005. It provides quantitative data on the consumption habits of this clientele, including the direct economic effects and economic losses per sector. The study develops various courses of action that would enable the Gatineau Valley businesses to fine tune what they are selling to increase the economic benefits attributable to the presence of resort goers and seasonal campers.

Project to adapt business to the new resort vacationer market. This study was conducted in 2005 and provides qualitative data on the consumer habits of resort vacationers in the Gatineau Valley.

It also provides possible courses of action that would enable businesses in the Gatineau Valley to adapt their marketing strategies with a view to increasing the economic benefits that flow from the presence of resort vacationers. Available in summary form.

« Sentier d'interprétation du Projet Pointe-des-Pères (Jardin forestier) »
This report deals with the development of facilities and themes to prepare an interpretation path in Maniwaki. The main aim of the project is to develop the characteristics of the sectors of Pointe-des-Pères, Fer-à-Cheval and the Rivière Désert walkway. The interpretation path will form a circuit through these sectors. Themes on the natural environments, communities and history of Maniwaki and the Gatineau Valley will be developed.
